    I had this issue with pencils whenever i worked on my calculus homework while on my bed. I would start out with 2 or 3 pencils and i graduated to 5, a whole fistful because every time put my pen down to use the calculator...it would disappear. Wth.❤ yes, sometimes i would loose all 5 and have to stop, get off the bed, straighten the comforter and demand to know where they all went. I swear there were ghosts messing with me.

    Open seams could pull apart while being pulled onto the long arm machine. It pays to press to the dark side.

    This is adorable, i was momentarily surprised that you didnt weave the bias tape over and under for the lattice, but then i realized i hadnt noticed at all when watching the short so i guess thats proof right there that its not necessary!

    We were always taught to press the seam open so you had the same amount of fabric on each side for the seam rather than all to one side making a larger seam. I wonder if that changed when sergers became more commonly used? Because when my kids went through home-ec, they had to do single side seams. (I’m 60)

    Ohhh adorable. Just regular quilting cotton or something else for the heat of the pot?

    • @Jen-CelticWarrior
      @Jen-CelticWarrior 5 днів тому

      Probably a double layer of cotton batting (no synthetic), or a layer of batting and a layer of Insul-Brite. Insul-brite has a reflective heat layer built in, and it is good for insulating potholders or lunch bags. 😊
